We believe in the purity of what nature gives us, and therefore, that the honey is supposed to be exactly the way the bees made it.

Also, Norwegian regulations do not allow sugar in any form or shape to be added to the honey. If there are any traces of sugar in the honey, we are no longer allowed to sell it as “honey”. A honey containing sugar will have to be sold as “syrup” and the word “honey” can not be used on any labels or marketing materials.

Random tests are performed by the Norwegian Food Safety Authority to monitor honey sold in Norway.

It’s that special time of year when we need to give our full attention to our bees before autumn starts. Because of this, we’ll be pausing all order handling until August 17th.

Our webshop is still open, and we truly appreciate your orders. Any orders placed will be dispatched and shipped starting on August 17th.
